Pictured is the 3840 Beiren full size heat-set web press. The 38" Beiren 3840 has five-color perfecting units with spray dampening, auto circumference and lateral registration controlled by Perretta Graphics Register System. Other features include; Perretta Graphics ink control console and fountains equipped with CIP 3 digital preset capabilities, Oxy-Dry blanket wash system on each unit with plc control at main console that can be programmed for wash at splice or on the fly, Beiren 3840 Folder with crosshead and spine perf and double parallel capability, Dual Butler Splicers with Datamat, and two-pass WPC web-guides on Harris two-pass T23U Infeed, Two-pass Thermo Electron Ovens, Two-pass 4-roll Harris Chillstand and WPC Web-guides, and finally two in-line perforating units plus inline trimming. CMS Inline coating tower with inline rotary cutter for producing covers. The combinations of these components enables the 3840 press line to produce 32 standard size pages in one pass.
